Buckets of Hope for Haiti |

Fox 7 News did a live interview with the Pastor of First Baptist Church of Pflugerville promoting "Buckets of Hope" for Haiti.
This is a project that asks people to purchase a 5-gallon bucket with a lid and a handle, a specific list of items to put in the bucket, with a specific method of placing those items in the bucket. You then tape an envelope with a $10 bill to the lid of the bucket (to cover shipping costs) and deliver it to First Baptist Church. It is that simple.

Offered by Easter Seals Central Texas & the Armadillo District, Boy Scouts of America
April 10, 2010
On April 10, 2010, Boy Scouts in the Capitol Area Council will be
offered a unique opportunity to earn the Disabilities Awareness Merit
Badge by attending a class from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Easter Seals
facility in Austin.
Scouts successfully completing the class will have completed most of
the requirements for the merit badge and will know how to complete the
other requirements. For more information and to register for the class,
visit the Armadillo District web site http://www.armadillodistrict.org/.
There is no charge to attend the class.

The District PWD Races are March 20th at the Hutto Hippo Plex Car Dealership between Hutto and Taylor along US 79.
Webelos 9am-10am....Check in starts at 8am
Bears 10am-11am....Check in starts at 9am
Wolves 11am 12pm....Check in starts at 10am
Tigers 12pm-1pm....Check in starts at 11am

With the new year comes new and changing responsibilities. If you have experienced a change in your role or level of participation with the District, it is likely that your inclusion in one or more of the District e-mail lists should also change; you may be on a list now that you no longer need to be, or there is a list that you need to be added to. Getting these changes made can be done quickly and easily by simply sending an e-mail or two.
